It is Father's Day 2011. Happy Father's Day all you Dads. My Dad, W.D.A., passed away in 2011 in my arms in 2006 of cancer. He was an Aleut (Alaskan Native) born and raised in a small town in Alaska. He left home at 13 years of age, supported himself as a clam digger and salmon fisherman, and still went to
High School where he had a remarkable 4.0 GPA. He had 5 kids and worked at Lockheed Aerospace where he retired from. After my wrongful conviction in 1989 and sentenced to 10 years in prison my beloved Dad, who had never broken a law in his life, helped me escape from prison in 1990. With his help I broke out of prison, made it back to Alaska, and worked as a Bering Sea Crab Fisherman. In 1992 I was captured in Seattle, Washington and returned to Oregon to finish my 10 year sentence, plus more time for my escape. On my Dad's Death Bed he told me to get the hell out of this country. A country I served as an airman in the U.S. Air Force after graduating High School in 1980. The same country that took 10+ years out of my life and about 7 more years for jumping parole all the time and refusing to register as an S.O. My Father died days before Jessica's Law was passed by California voters. A law that does nothing to protect the public, but costs CA tax payers 100's of millions of their dollars a year. So, here it is 2011 and I have now been fighting The Sex Crime Witch Hunt for about a quarter century. I jumped parole again right after Jessica's Law became law in CA and was again recaptured in 2008. I was sentenced to 4 more years in prison for refusing to register. I've been out now for 6 months. Because of Jessica's Law I now have a GPS Tracking Device locked onto my ankle, I can not go into schools, parks, ect..., can not live in 75%+ of the county, I am forced to live in a Hotel I can't afford, have a curfew, and on and on. Jessica's Law in CA is a true Nightmare and It's only going to get worse. I'm not going to run anymore and have vowed to complete parole, then I can finally going to get the hell out of this state in 2013. My life has been ruined just because I had consensual sex with this woman I barely knew in 1985 who turned out to be a Wing Nut who had a history of falsely accusing men. She falsely accused me for a million dollar lawsuit. Anyway, you would think things could not get any worse, but it did. A month and a half ago the Hotel I stay at was raided by 20+ State and Federal Law Enforcement Agents. Four TV News Stations filmed the entire circus. One station showed me sitting outside my Hotel room door in handcuffs in what they said was a "Child Predator Raid". Talk about nightmares. It's all lies! Here's a video of the "raid".

I have come to the attitude of "Fuck It". I don't care what anyone now thinks of me and I'm going to keep fighting the system. I comply 100% with my parole conditions and should be done in Oct. of 2013. Back to Alaska in 2013!!! Happy Father's Day Dad! You were the best Dad ever. I don't know where you are, but I know I'll be reunited with you and Mom someday. I miss you Dad.

Survey says: We have had stupid people making decisions about how money is spent in California.
How else do you explain this idiocy: As a child, getting a first glimpse at multiplication tables in second grade and then mastering them the next year, I always was taken by the "7s."
Maybe it was a football thing -- touchdown and extra point equals seven. The "7s" always were my favorite part of multiplication tables.
Let's really go out on the proverbial limb here and say it's stupid, idiotic, inane, dumb and short-sighted to spend SEVEN TIMES AS MUCH PER YEAR ON AN INMATE AS WE DO ON A PUBLIC SCHOOL STUDENT ... AND, YES, I'M USING ALL-CAPITAL LETTERS IN BOLD-FACE TYPE FOR SUBTLE EMPHASIS.
The court system -- recently all the way up to the United States Supreme Court -- seems very intent on fixing any inequities that exist for those who broke the law and are now incarcerated.
A spacious prison hospital complex, after much debate, is being built near Highway 99 in Stockton.
The Supreme Court ruled 5-4 recently that California must reduce the population in its state prisons by more than 33,000. The state's chief prison official
trotted out his plans for doing so last week.
By all means, let's take care of the prisoners.
But, first, let's revisit those annual spending figures listed above and take the multiplication a few more steps.
So let's apply the old chicken-egg litmus test. If the state spent seven times as much on public school students as it does now, what would happen to test scores, graduation rates, and the number of students who are able to go on to college?
And what would happen to crime rates and the need for more prisons and prison hospitals if California's purse-string holders would push more of this money toward education?
It'll be interesting to see if elected leaders truly have the guts and fortitude to tackle this issue before things ... well ... multiply even more in the wrong direction.

The survey, based in Chicago, found overwhelmingly that those children who spent time in preschool ended up with better jobs, less drug abuse and fewer arrests than those who did not attend preschool. More grist for the mill of the importance of early education.

False Allegations Awareness Month
America’s legal system has become awash in false allegations of abuse, including false accusations of domestic violence, child abuse, and sexual assault. False allegations are harmful because they:
- Take away scarce protections and services from real victims
- Can be devastating to the falsely accused
- Undermine due process and cause misuse of our legal system
- Force children into single-parent households, placing them at higher risk of social pathologies
Let’s be perfectly clear: Making a false accusation of domestic violence is a crime, and persons who make such allegations should be held liable for their actions.
June is False Allegations Awareness Month, and this year’s theme is “Zero Tolerance for False Allegations.” Throughout the month, events will be held around the country to raise awareness that making a false allegation of abuse is a form of abuse.

SACRAMENTO - A Sacramento magazine publisher wants everyone to know about sexual predators who could be living in their neighborhood.
Corey Wright is the publisher of the local 916 edition of Predator Magazine, a publication that features photos of convicted sex offenders.
“It'll give parents and grandparents the ability to know what's around the corner,” Wright told KCRA 3.
Wright goes through California’s Megan’s Law website and puts up pictures and information into Predator Magazine.
Legal and Illegal Uses. The information on this web site is made available solely to protect the public. Anyone who uses this information to commit a crime or to harass an offender or his or her family is subject to criminal prosecution and civil liability. Any person who is required to register pursuant to Penal Code section 290 who enters this web site is punishable by a fine not exceeding $1,000, imprisonment in a county jail not exceeding six months, or by both the fine and imprisonment. (Pen. Code, § 290.46, subd. (h)(2).)
Wright hopes to print 10,000 fresh copies of Predator Magazine and is currently looking for advertisers.
The magazine would be free and available in area markets and stores, Wright said.
Publishing a magazine that outs convicted child molesters who are trying to blend into a community can have its drawbacks.
"(I get) death threats. Everything kind of surprised me," Wright said. "I thought that this magazine would be welcome by all.”

The City Council voted 4-0 to approve a final reading of the ordinance Wednesday night with Councilman Frank Fry absent. On May 26, council members voted 4-0 to pass the first reading of the ordinance, with Fry abstaining.
Westminster's ordinance comes in the wake of the Orange County Board of Supervisors' vote last month to adopt a similar ordinance banning registered sex offenders from county parks.
If convicted of a first-time violation of this code, an individual could face up to six months in county jail and a $500 fine. Under California Penal Code section 290, individuals convicted of certain crimes are required to register as sex offenders with local law enforcement agencies.
Several Orange County cities are discussing the issue. But so far, Westminster and Huntington Beach have been the only ones to actually pass the ban. Rancho Santa Margarita council members discussed the matter Wednesday. Council members, who expressed unanimous support for the ordinance, asked city staff members to come back with a draft of the ordinance for a first reading.
Critics of the ordinance have raised concerns about the constitutionality of the ordinance. Others argue that the law does little to differentiate low-level sex offenders from those who have committed violent crimes and that such a law could be difficult to enforce.

Sexting teens need education, not jail, New York lawmakers say
A teen and a cell phone can be a dangerous combination. (Photo from Bigstockphoto.com) Whether done by a middle school student or (perhaps) a member of Congress, sexting — the act of sending sexually explicit text and images via cell phone, Web cam or by any other electronic means — has a siren- like quality: It’s alluring to the sexter, but may end up getting them in a lot of trouble.
While actress Reese Witherspoon advised would-be sexters to hide their faces, lawmakers in New York and other states are trying to deal with the issue by putting a stop to the felony child pornography charges some teens, like ones in Virginia and Pennsylvania, have faced.
New York lawmakers introduced the “Cyber-Crime Youth Rescue Act” Friday, which would create an “educational reform program” that would teach sexters about the danger associated with the act and provide prosecutors and judges with an alternative to harsher charges, the Wall Street Journal reported.
In Texas, a bill that would allow offending teens younger than 17 to be charged with a misdemeanor, instead of a felony, was sent to Gov. Rick Perry Friday, while a similar bill passed the Pennsylvania House in May. Arizona, Connecticut, Louisiana and Illinois have passed laws that lessen sexting charges in some cases.
Aurora Eller, who appeared on “The View” on Monday, could benefit from these laws. At 13, she said she started communicating with a man in a chat room and, at his insistence, performed sexual acts with a friend on a Web cam while under the influence of alcohol. Eller, who is home schooled due to an illness, said she felt pressured by the man, who has not been identified. Now at 16, she’s facing child pornography charges and, according to lawyer and wiredsafety.com founder Parry Aftab, could become a registered sex offender.
Aftab said Eller will attend the 12th Annual WiredKids Summit at the Russell Senate Building Wednesday to help raise awareness about the dangers of sexting.

Rihanna has premiered a graphic and controversial new music video for her latest single 'Man Down,' in which she takes revenge on a sex offender by shooting him.Rihanna, who was infamously assaulted in 2009 by then-boyfriend Chris Brown, literally shoots a man down at the opening of her Anthony Mandler-directed, Jamaican-filmed video.
The 'Hard' singer opens fire on a man at a railway station before a series of flashback images reveal that the murdered man was Rihanna's nightclub assailant.
Rihanna took to her Twitter page to tell fans "Thank you for the amazing response on Man Down video I love you guys, and I love that u got it!!! Young girls/women all over the world... we are a lot of things! We're strong innocent fun flirtatious vulnerable, and sometimes our innocence can cause us to be naive!"
The singer continued, "We always think it could never be us, but in reality, it can happen to any of us! So ladies be careful and listen to yo mama! I love you and I care!"
Rihanna may have been going for self-defense and female empowerment, but there is no doubt the video will drum up controversy.

Less is More
Parents: When It Comes To Sex Offender Lists, Less is More
In theory, Megan’s Law was a noble idea. Save the children! Empower parents! Give the public a fighting chance by letting them know where herds of predators roam free. But in practice, what was lauded as a shiny new tool for the parental toolbox has turned out to be a rusted axe, and over 14 years, that axe has come to have a very bloody blade.
I am sure you heard the horror stories from the first few years after Megan’s Law was enacted in 1997. For instance, in California, the state’s response to the Jacob Wetterling Act – the federal version of Megan’s Law – was to dump into the public domain 42,000 names of everyone convicted of a “sexual offense” over the previous 20 years. Included in that one-size fits all release were many elderly gay men who had been convicted of sodomy, or “lewd and lascivious behavior” (often code for public displays of affection between two men) in the 50s and 60s when such things were illegal.
There were so many of these cases that California had to enact a procedure for these men to petition to have their names removed. I am sure that was not an insignificant or benign event in any of their rudely interrupted lives.
But that was 14 years ago, surely the system was tweaked and is now working to avert stranger danger wherever it is lurking? Think again.
All over the country sex offender registries, meant to give parents information, have been co-opted as a law enforcement cudgel, used as a punishment, or as a plea bargaining tool for prosecutors. The result is there are now so many names on the various state’s list, there is very little chance any concerned citizen will be able to ferret out the true predators hidden among them.
In 2006 Congress finally took action to reign in the states. The Adam Walsh Act ordered each state to create a tiered system so flashers and rapists and young men who had sex with their underage partners are not all listed in the very same way. (Notice that “fix” only took nine years to enact.) My own state of Michigan set up a three-tiered system in March of this year, and while I do hope the changes will mean fewer undeserving people are stigmatized unjustly, I am not hopeful that the Adam Walsh Act will really help make the program what it was meant to be: a source of pertinent information to help parents.
So what could? What specifically do parents need? Fewer names. An alert parent can be expected to protect against three dangerous neighbors, or maybe even twenty dangerous neighbors, but what can he possibly do about 500 suspect neighbors in his own zip code?
The solution to the dilemma is easy to see. Reduce the number of names on the sex offender’s list to only the most dangerous criminals. But there in lies the paradox. Because while parents need a list with fewer suspects, judges are not going to take those parents needs into consideration at sentencing time. Prosecutors are still going to overcharge in order to plea bargain with what tier the suspect will be put into. And lawmakers are not going to risk reining them in, lest they be called “soft on crime” – particularly sex crimes — by their political opponents. And all of them fear the lawsuit and the press coverage should someone left off the list attack a child.
We can see the solution. We just can’t get there from here.

Babe Teacher Caught Half-Naked with Student Gets No Jail
Carrie Shafer
(Louisville, Kentucky) Former duPont Manual High School biology teacher Carrie Shafer, 39, pleaded guilty yesterday to charges stemming from an incident when she was caught half-naked with a 17-year-old male student.
As a result, Shafer was sentenced to three years of probation, during which she is prohibited from teaching. According to the plea agreement, Shafer will not have to register as a sex offender. She will be placed on diversion, meaning her case will be dismissed when she completes the terms of her probation.
I'd suggest that a male teacher facing the same circumstances would not have been treated as leniently. (More….)

June 3, 2011 Update
Well, it has been about 6 weeks since 20+ State and Federal Law Enforcement Officials stormed the Hotel I am forced to live in due to Jessica's Law Residential Restrictions (70+% of the county is "off limits" to me) and my life is finally getting back to "normal". On April 21, 2011 this "Child Predator Raid" alerted the medias and a 1/2 dozen news crews showed up to film the circus. They showed me handcuffed outside my hotel room while my room was ransacked. I would say I've never been so humiliated and degraded, but the last 20+ years have been a series of degradation and humiliation, so it's hard to pick one event that stands out. Hundreds of thousands of TV news viewers watched this attack. All the networks ran this story night and day for three solid days. The first week or two I totally isolated myself in my hotel room, but now Ive said to myself, " fuck it! I do not care what anyone thinks around here. I'm going to just go about my business and screw what anyone thinks about me". Law Enforcement did the raid for job security and the media turned It into a circus, because that's what they do. I AM BACK! I have been fighting The Sex Crime Witch Hunt for over 20+ years and am not about to stop now. Here's a video of the raid.
