Hope you all had a good 4th of July. Mine was pretty low key. Our city had a big 4th of July parade and then that night there were fireworks shows all over the bay area after dark. I did not go to either. Not because I'm not a Patriot or don't like fireworks. I am a Patriot (I'm a U.S. Air Force Veteran) and I love fireworks. The reason I did not participate in all the celebration is because I am not allowed in parks and my P.O. is on vacation. I could of viewed the fireworks in alot of locations, but in any situation where there are crowds, I have to get "permission" to attend. Instead of risking another year in San Quentin or some other Hellhole, I opted out. Made me kind of sad. I don't feel like a second class citizen. I feel like I'm no citizen. A man without a country. I did go out to lunch with my brother. Which was cool. If my parole was violated for attending the parade or some other celebration I would of been sent back to prison for up to a year at a cost to CA Taxpayers of 50,000+ dollars. Pure insanity! The best way to appeal Jessica's Law is exposing the outrageous costs to Taxpayers for a "law" that protects no one and does much more harm than good.
